Thumbs up Back in the saddle again!

Well i took the SV off the road recently. It was coming up for an MOT and I wanted to give it a bit of a checking over. So I rejetted it as it was running a tad rich. I then freed up the brakes which were all sticking on the sliders, although i still feel they are binding slightly so I'll rebuild the calipers over Xmas. I ditched the hugger as I dont like the look of them. Finally I fitted new tyres. It passed the MOT with flying colours.

Now the new tyres are on and the squared off rear has gone the bike turns in all nice and smooth. Its much crisper and more responsive for rejetting too. Still a bit uneven at very low revs though, carbs may need a balance? But overall I was pleased with my mini overhaul. I've still got a zx10r shock to fit and upgrade the front springs at some point but for now it just felt great riding the SV again.
