Some questions on the injection cam swap, carby intakes for injection exhaust cams. A lot cheaper than buying re-profiled cams for my race bike.
1. How common is this? 2. What is the realistic BHP gain if any? (I just read the other post and the guy mentions 9BHP, dont believe that for 1 sec) Has anyone got or ever seen pre swap dyno results and post swap results? 3. Will it cause any problems? |

I said 3-9bhp depending on who you believe, actually
![]() 1. Common enough 2. If you've already got a pointy, then the exhaust cam swap is going to do very little, really. 3. Not if done right. |

Wasn't havin a dig at you buddy, just saying I dont believe the 9BHP part of your quote, someone has obviously told you that figure or you read it some where else.
I'd be well impressed if I got 3 BHP from it but I'd still be happy with 1 as its such a simple and cheap mod. |

I don't believe the 9bhp figure either, but some people will claim that much

I bought a complete set of barrells, heads ect the other day for little money so I might go with it. Would still like to hear from others that have done this though.
