I want to fit a rear hugger on my naked K7 before the gritters come out in force and was wondering if anybody has any suggestions as to which one is best or are they about the same as regards ease of fitting and quality, thanks in advance.

Hi, I have fitted a Red Fox carbon effect to my K9 recently, there is a thread with photo's. Very pleased with the fitment although I messed about fitting it, it only took about 45 minutes, nice finish and good value, service from the manufacturers excellent.
I have difficulty uploading photo's to the .org site but can send via an attachment if you want any. JOHN |

Im very pleased with mine, Pete has shown a link to my pic i posted. I found it very easy to fit, hardest bit was using original bolts, they have a shoulder on them so wouldnt tighten up due to the plastic being thinner, got round this by putting a thickish washer behind the hugger bolts holes to thicken that area, make sure though that the washers have a big enough internal diameter to clear the shoulder diameter. Any problems pm me, but im sure you'll do it no problem. Phil |

Good idea though not a problem I've had, plastic seems nice and thick, and survived me crashing well and bashing the can into the swinger. If you wanna know.
