Default Scuffed Exhaust and Indicator Relay.

First of all, my exhaust. It is been scraped, any chance of shining it back up to its formal glory?

And my indicator is non existent, so i was gonna fit mini leds' in anyway. i have got minis in the rear, so and i right in saying that this is my fuse relay switch thingy?

http://s843.photobucket.com/albums/z...t=CIMG1380.jpg

would i need another one if i wanted to fit fronts?

Ta, Robert

The exhaust is fairly straight forward, some cutting paste and polishing kit and should come back as good as new!

Cheers

the exhaust is deep and looks like you've dented it, popping the dents will be easy but not sure about the scratches, a polishing mop would be a minimum it will take ages to do by hand

No, cutting paste is a type of polishing paste with lots of abrasive bits in it. You will need a motorised polishing wheel for it to work well.

Stubbying it means cutting that section off to make it shorter.

edit, like this... http://www.sundanceglass.com/fuseWEB/5702-2.jpg

pink stuff is the paste, polishing is being done using an attachment fitted to an ordinary drill.
Just dont ask me wtf he's polishing there, just an image i found on google.

Dunno what the relevant MOT regs are in Germany ( i assume thats where yo are from your name) but here in the Uk i never fitted anything for my LED indies. I liked the fact they flashed fast cos others noticed it more.
They were within the legal flash rate limit for over here.

can you find out what the flash rate regs are for where you are first and then decide from that or do you just want them to flash just like everyone else's?

Oh, ok.

the flash rate for the MOT is a max of 120 (or is it 130) flashes per minute. So time the flashes for 10 seconds, multiply up and if you're inside that limit you pass the MOT. Simple.
I would imagine you ned to have front and rears flash at the same rate tho, so you'd need LEDs front and back, which was what i had and i never failed an MOT.
