Hi guys please first of all excuse the spelling I'm on my phone at work!
I recentlet purchased several items for my pointy ie lowers hugger and oillion seat cover thought I would get them all painted together to save cost and for better colour match, I have the Candy blue (Ycm2) I think! Poord down to see him after about 5 kins he tells me its almost impossibial to colour match it and if I sourced the paint he would repaint them for 250 notes Is it me or Dorse that sound wrong ? Thanks for looking Del |

how is it impossible to colour match? you can by hugers, undertrays colour matched so you sure as hell can get it sprayed with the same paint code and it will match.
and is it just the lowers and seat cowl because that seems okish price maybe a bit expensive do you have to suplie paint on top of that cost if so that is expensive |

try and look for a compay that repairs ex company cars, i got my tank on my old bike sprayed by a commercial place cost me £100 all in for matt black and the job was perfect (that included repairing a massive gouge down the one side)

Just had the same problem - purchased lowers and rear seat cover cheap off Ebay - had a quote of £75 to paint the lowers. When the paint shop tried to match the paint the paint code was not held on the computer. Mine was an 08 colour Candy Indy Blue. In the end he charged me £125 to paint the lowers and seat cover plus a surcharge of £60 for the paint which he had to buy in from a paint supplier. It actually cost him £67 for a half litre of paint and he moaned like hell because it's a 3 coat process being a candy paint. He has half the paint left over and is storing it for me just in case. The paint match was fantastic so pleased with the overall result.
I'd try sourcing a company that specialise in spraying motor bikes as they will have more luck mixing paint I think. Good luck - Steve |

Look on Fleabay, there is a company on there that sell suki specific paint, remember seeing it a while ago.
HTH The black is the hardest to match (mine) i have been told by the suki dealer, as it has three types of flake in it. |
