Default MRO Minitwins or not??

I'm a little confused on seeing the Matrix for 2010, although the selection of tracks looks great it would appear all of the MRO classes have 9 rounds, Minitwins are further down the list and not listed as an MRO class, and have only 8 rounds, does this mean that the Minitwins class is not now an MRO class as previously advertised?? (it still appears on the 2010 Classes page as MRO, but not on the Matrix).........

Is the BSB round at Cadwell not the MRO round fella? I thought originally there was talk of TWO MRO rounds for minitwins?

seems for 2010 it remains a BMCRC class and sticks to 8 rounds not the suggested 9. Also x1 visit to BSB @ Cadwell May meeting.

hi adam,
well thats a bit cheeky by Bemsee if true then as due to the talk of MRO etc a certain level of extra interest and planning has no doubt gone ahead over the winter.
I remember you saying that your decision was part influenced by the MRO upgrade. Where can we get more info?

Spoke to Mike today and he cleared a few things up, at the end of the day, as with other classes, you need numbers to fill grids, obviously despite an obvious interest in the Minitwins class, not so many have actually registered an interest and entered the Championship (just my view on things). The Minitwins class will still comprise of a main Championship, a Rookie Championship, and the new Junior Championship. Mike has said, where numbers wil allow it, the the main race will be run seperately to the Rookie/Junior race, but all 3 classes will run at the same meetings, which offers the Club some flexibility if numbers are down to fill grids. Minitwins will run as a Club Championship and pay Club entry fees, but the 2010 Minitwins Series will still have the option to run on Michelin Power Ones, and will still be eligible for tyre prizes and cash at every meeting. Please correct me if I've got anything wrong, but it al looks good to me (especially a revamped Silverstone the week before MotoGP go there).....bring it on

Just something to think about, if you wear a Novice bib you should enquire whether you are eligible for the BSB date, as in the past you won't have been, as MSVR have particular licence requirements, best check with them.
