As you may recall the Hutton Enquiry was brought about by the death of Dr David Kelly, who was exposed as the source of information passed to Andrew Gilligan of the BBC which suggested the government had 'sexed up' the dossier which claimed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and that they could be used at very short notice.
The Hutton Enquiry cleared the government of any improper action, and strongly critcised the BBC which resulted in the resignation of the director general, Gavyn Davies, and chairman, Greg Dyke. Now you may or may not believe the enquiry's findings, but what possible reason is there for witholding the post mortem results? Surely this can only boost the feeling that the enquiry's results were improperly influenced. If Dr Kelly took his own life the results of the post mortem may not confirm that, but couldn't contradict it. Link to story

Could be the family have asked for them to be kept private... just a thought.
That wouldn't stop the authorities acting on anything something suspicious, assuming you trust the authorities.

not even the family are allowed access to it, some lord is keeping it private for 70 years to make sure all concerned are dead. they need another doctor to look over the findings and say if they should be released, or dig david kelly up and redo the post mortem.

70yrs? SEVENTY FEKING YEARS?!?!?!?!?!? Most information that is "sensitive" and classified for some reason is only kept closed for 30yrs usually, so why does the post mortem on someone who committed suicide need to be kept secret for so long?
Is it possibly cos he didnt kill himself ![]() is it because there are names of people who first attended the scene to "clean up" and then left before the police were allowed to be called an notified? Is it cos secret shadowy figures needed to go to his house and confiscate certain documents he mau have had copies of and at the same time threaten his wife and kids with the same fate should they open thier mouths? The whole thing stinks. The doctors who are chaising this, and thank god for them doing so, have always maintained that he could not have killed himself in this way on his own as the act of cutting in deep enough to reach the ulnar artery would be so painful that a person could not do it to themselves. Hence why most suicide where people slit their wrists is done in a slashing manner across the small veins visible under the skin. And also most people who kill themselves this way know its slow and hence they do it in a bath full of water to help them bleed out faster, not in the woods on their own. Dont forget this man was privvy to some very sensitive weapons info, not just for Saddam but for this country and the UN too. This means by its very nature his work is secret. Hence he also has a handler in both MI5 & MI6 to oversee his work and secide what needs to be passed on etc. So did one of his handlers call him and say "we need to meet to talk about this issue of the leak" hence they met in the woods, then out come the goons and hold him down while making a cut to possible insert some toxic agent into his blood to kill him quickly and with little outward signs of blood? is this why all the info about his death needs to be kept quiet...cos it''ll show what lengths the powers that be went to to make sure he was kep quiet too. The whole thing stunk at the start and like a rotting bit of fish its now stinking more than ever and making me sick to my stomach. And this is what they call a democracy is it? or is it a totalitarian govt who can use any excuse they like to hide their own lies and evil deeds? Hay Govt...you say it often enough yourselves....if you got nothing to fear then you got nothing to hide. But clearly somehting needs to be hidden for 70yrs to ensure all those who took part in the cover up and will be dead and hence uncountable for their disgusting actions.

Zig, you articulate my feelings better than I can myself.
I calmed down a bit before I started this thread though. Did you hear/see Alistair Campbell at the Chilcot the other day? Now this is just a feeling you understand, but I don't think that man was being completely honest.

I get very wound up over this poor mans death, VERY. Glad i wasn't at the inquiry as i'd have rushed that Campbell character and punched him till he told the truth. Perhaps we should allow the enquiry to waterboard the individuals who the public feel are not telling all they know, after all its not torture is it and we (as a country, not you and i) condone its use on our enemies. So why not on enemies within, enemies of the truth? I cant wait for the smarm-meister himself our old friend Mr Tory bLiar to get on the stand, be pussy footed around, not asked any real deep or searching questions and once again be allowed to say "i am the messiah, i did it cos it was right" cos right by his murderously criminal standards makes it acceptable. Obviously. God you've got me going now. I'm sitting here seething! Good thread ![]()

And we should ALL be following your example - we should All be asking very deep and searching questions about this and a hundred other things.
Ooh! I got lots more that would really wind you up, but not now - I fear for your blood pressure already.
