Interesting one. I'd hope they'd get someone who was good at the job above everything. Getting some glam in who knew nothing would be embarassing.
Someone with passion (racing, bikes, not the riders, tho I don't suppose they have to be exclusive ), which I always felt Suzi had.
I think blokes are more guarded generally (with obvious exceptions in people such as David Attenborough, Michael Wood (the historian), Neil Oliver, none of whom would be on my list for presenting MotoGP tho) so that enthusiasm wouldn't come out as well with a bloke.

The MCN page had Vikki Butler-Henderson who I think could be pretty good.
