Default Speeding ticket advice ??

Just been done speeding in the car.

I have just noticed that he has done the reg wrong on the ticket, he has put 09 instead of 59 !

Does this make the penalty invalid ??

Cheers

Go here

Probably the best place to check, other than getting legal advice...

cant even say it wasnt me coz the reg was wrong coz the cars probably have cameras in for your mug shot when you get in.

Also are they allowed to use speed guns of a night ? i always thought they cudnt.

TBH i aint got a clue, certainly didnt feel like it.

Drivin me girlfriends new car, its a mini with the fookin massive speedo in the middle so tend not to drive lookin at the middle of the car. lol

whats to stop the fookers keeping the reading from a speeding car and then just pulling you and others over and sayin that it was your speed.

Very far fetched i know but you never know do you. lol

I really do feel i wasnt doing the speed that he said though.

it was a copper on his own aswell, thought they done it in pairs , maybe for some kind of witness so save any disputes.

Just tryin to find a loop hole somewhere .

17 years without even a producer, then this.

I was nicked for speeding last week, the last time was 12 years ago when I went through a 50 doing 70 that had just been changed (and I hadn't noticed) from a 70 to a 50 and got caught out by police hiding in hedges.
I was bang to rights this time (I was last time but thought it a little unfair), nicked for average of 89 in a 70 limit, unmarked golf r32 with camera right up my arris. The officers handwriting was appalling, when I surrendered my license at the local station the officer at the desk couldn't read the writing, had to ask the reg number etc. The police car had a camera though so no way of getting out of it, tbh I wouldn't bother trying. Chalk that one up to experience.
