Default Aldi alarm lock

Just picked one up and it is a great bit of kit for 8 quid so if you need a backup alarmed lock you can not go wrong .... Nice loud alarm too

wait, i is confuddled.

is this thread about and Alarm Clock , ie something that makes noise and tells you the wonderful land of nod journey must come to an end and you must once again face the realities of life.

or

is this an Alarmed Lock, ie something you bolt to your pride and joy that will scream its head off if some nasty little toe rag decides he'd like to take it home and not give you and wonga in return?

Please ease the pain of confudluldusionisms for me.

It is an alarmed lock that you use with a chain or as a disc lock and is really strong bit of kit.

I was thinking why would Aldi sell alarm clocks for £8 and someone even bother mentioning it.

But alarmed lock. So you say you use with chain/disc lock. Are you buying just an alarm attachment or is it an alarm&lock combo. If so, how meaty's the chain? Surely for £8 it must be pretty cuttable.
