Default Machinist

Not really a 'stuff' wanted but I'm after someone who can do some machining for me, ideally in the Birmingham area (and more ideally South Birmingham) but realistically anywhere vaguely near.

I'm after little bits, pieces etc, I've people I can send stuff to but postage etc becomes a right hassle. So I'm after the kind of place I can take stuff to / plans to.

Anyone got any suggestions/recommendations?

What type of stuff you after ? a mate of mine has a small engineering company in kingswinford in the black country.
He had some cnc lathes and millers, he does a lot of batch type of stuff and one off's.
On a different note...
I was gonna ask him if he wanted to start getting into custom bike stuff like rearsets, brake caliper brackets etc but dont know how to go about it yet.
I can use Autocad, so i was hoping to do some of the design and get him to make them.

Well the bits I'm after atm are milling the rear brake caliper bracket, machining a sprocket carrier and making up some custom spacers.

I'll also need some custom spacers and custom rearset[1] plates made up for my RC24 project.

The custom bits are all solidworks models so proper drawings or pretty much any drawing file is possible.

[1] Asymmetric rearsets, I can get the footpegs easily, just buy a set of adjustable ones but no one does rearsets for them anymore.
