I know, it's a bit odd. Apparently the average size of the Uk female is reckoned to be around a 16 (source - Radio 4 interview today).

Thing is, these girls don't even look healthy half the time.

Completely agree with you. I have never met anyone who sees a picture like the one in your page and goes "Man, she's hot!" it's usually "Eurgh, wtf she anorexic?"

And a serious matter, with 6 to 20% (ref below) of people with anorexia nervosa eventually dying from the disorder, its quite sad really. People don't realise that many of these people are not simply 'vain' but truly have an underlying mental problem.

I can take a guess that weird trends in fashion, such as this, will never end. Corsets? Lead powder? Bowl cuts? Just plain wrong.
