Default Removing Suzuki sticker from tank.

is this going to be a sand down job just to remove he stickers?

heat, lots of it to soften the glue.

Pick the bits off and then wipe down with petrol or gt85 etc.

It WILL take ages and your fingers will be sore at the end but it does come off.

I dont know what they stick them on with, but its a damn site stronger than any of the bolts on the bike!

I took the one off my tank, it was a right pain
I put loads of swirl marks in the paint and my mate had to polish it all out for me again.
I have left the others, not worth the hassle IMO.

the suzuki is laquered over if I remember rightly.

Of course its laquered over, if it weren't your tank sticker would come off if you picked at it. Why do you think it has that lovely shiny finish like the rest of your tank, its because there are several layers of laquer protecting it.

Leave it alone, or end up with guff paint work.
