Not sure how nationwide they are, but djsuperstore rent. There is one near me (southend in essex) but not sure whether they are a chain or just the one store..

Glad I could help.

I bought some kit from them recently, really nice guys in the southend branch.
I bought 2x 15" speakers, 1000w amp 2 speaker stand for around £500, so if you're planning on doing quite a few, might be cheaper for you to buy.

no not planning on doing any more realy, just doing my nan's 80th birthday party on the cheep so me and my dad are djing, and we already have decks, technic mkII's and a numark hdmix will only be using the HDmix though , and we have amps and speakers but they are a bit more expensive (home theatre stuf) and dont want to damage them by playing full blast all night

and £500 sounds like a cracking price for what you got my amp cost £400 on its own :S

Yeah, I've been doing parties recently. and just trying to earn back whatever I spend on gear. Great fun too.

Transport defiantely an issue. I just about fit everything including my lights/stands etc

If I buy anything else i'm going to need something bigger though.
