...or you'll get this

This is her shooting target (.22) from last night. After having started only a few weeks ago, she's now in the school under 12 shooting team.

What is she using, When I first started with .22 I used an old international that was ferking heavy for a kid until I bought my Anchutz 1407. I then got a match 1413 which again was heavy.

A bit more practice and she will be getting there. Wait for her first poss

I had a go at .22 shooting with the ATC. Couldn't even hit the target. I'm sure there was something wrong with my rifle.

I've never had a problem hitting things with a shotgun...

I D/K Tim - I'll find out. Not bad for an 11 year old who has been shooting for all of 4 weeks.

thats nearly ATC marksman standard, very good,

I used to be a fantastic shooting consistently up to 800 yards, and I have just been granted my Shotgun Cert as a stepping stone to my Cat 1 Fire arms..

she getting an air rifle for her next birthday?

Hehe nice one!

I've only shot a gun once, went clay pigeon shooting a few months back, and miraculously shot 3 clays with 2 shots... really want to go back and see if it was a fluke!

Nice one Ed's daughter! That's good shooting.

What's the range she's shooting at and with open sights or a 'scope?

I'm getting used to my new Falcon Prarie air rifle, but not posting my groups up after seeing those!

Pete

edit; just seen to 25yrds bit on the sheet.

Nice shooting.

Great seeing that its only been 4 weeks too

I'm guessing its a number 8 target rifle at 25 metres?

Once she gets to grips with the breathing, she will be spot on.

I've got my training manuals in a pdf if she wants to look at it sometime, I'll mail it over.

I was pretty terrible at shooting in the ATC, but it was always good fun.
