Martial's epigrams
I'm currently doing studies in Ancient Rome & Greece. As part of those studies I get to read really interesting stuff like the letters of the younger Pliny, satires by Juvenal, some other stuff by some other old people, Homer and Horace...and things by a bloke called Martial.
I have been wetting myself tonight reading Martial...he's absolutley outrageous and ever so slightly hilarious. I won't post any links because they're for 'grown ups' only. Off to Google/Bing you go...trust me...I'm a loon...
