BMC air filter - clean or bin? - SV650.org

Got a BMC air filter on my curvey and it looks pretty dirty. Is it better to:

Clean & oil with some K&N cleaner & oil
Clean with washing up liquid and leave it dry
Chuck it in the bin and get a standard (if they get restrictive 'cos cleaning doesn't get all the crap out)

K+N cleaning kit and oil works fine
