Also my gear shift rubber is ****e and got a replacement but can't figure out how to get old bit off and and new bit on.. Any ideas?

Replace your footpegs with GSXR ones - simply take all the rubber off them, and hey presto!

or you could get a blow lamp and burn the remaining rubber off, buff 'em up and hey presto free gsxr pegs.

Probably best burning if that's your thinking.
