Hartside... - SV650.org

Yesterday I put Dan's bike through an MOT (Handa VFR800), it's the first time it's seen tarmac since his off on the 08/08/09 RAF Leeming Track day. All is fine and dandy..

got up this morning @ 0700, looked at the weather....

Dan text'd me @ 0730 saying he was up...

So at 0800 we headed out on a bright and sunny morning (a tad fresh... must get heated hand grips.)
Went through Durham towards Crook on the A689 Love that road...
Got to the second highest point just before Nenthead pulled over to have a break as Dans visor was Too noisy... a bit of gaffer tape fixes all problems.
A random bloke in a van going the other was asked where we were headed, as there was a speed trap towards Alston. We said Thank you

and carried on our way.
Found the speed trap, I think we went through it at 25mph..

Then had some fun going up Alston to Hartside Cafe...
Got to the top had a bacon butty and a cuppa Tea, then Headed back.
Got back home, No sign of the family so washed the bike cleaned the chain and put it to bed.
Now sitting in front of the computer with a refreshing Frosty Jacks.... it's gone up in price to £3.19.... The highway robbin shopkeeper...

That is all, just thought I'd share my morning with you lot.

The Sun is out, The Sky is Blue.
Theres not a cloud to spoil the Veiw.
my bike is Rev'ing...
Rev'ing up Hartside.... :0)

Glad you enjoyed it.

I stayed out till stupid o'clock this morning and as a result the bike has not been started today.
