Only about a mile up the road from me.
I am from Billingshurst Luke, the pubs are not what they used to be.

No way - Used to drink in the Bells during summer and The Kings Arms at other times. Man, this must be over 10 years ago now - jeez time is flying!

Five Oaks?

Actually - can you guys tell me something..... If you go through Billinghurst, but take the new-bypass (which probably isn't that new anymore!) at night and stick your headlights on full beam - Are the words "Big Ken" still taped to the pedestrian bridge in reflective tape!?

I meant about 2 miles the other side of Five Oaks- Slinfold.

And yes there is still something (I can't remember what) in reflective tape on that bridge

Ha ha, could be wrong but I thought Big Ken had dissappeared (although its a fast bit of road so I just may not notice it anymore)
I have lived here 11 years this summer, but only come from Ashington so have been in and out the pubs round here for donkeys, a mate of mine used to play in some of the pubs with his old band, probably about 15-20 years ago now.

Edit; BIG KEN is still there, although the word KEN is looking a bit ropey
