Default How much weight do you have fitted to each wheel?

well after balancing my wheels and tyres i got thinking of how many other people have loads of weight fitted

mine when i started had 80g on the front and 90 on the back.

it now has a hell of a lot less than that lol

So how much is fitted to yours?

does it matter as long as the wheel is balanced?

Yes if you're buying the weights!

I put my wheels on the balancer without any tyres on them and marked the heavy point. Then when I fit the tyres I make sure I match heavy point to light point on tyre (Dunlops for example are marked with a yellow dot) and that way quite often I don't have to add any weight at all, or at least very little.

very true my tyres had a red dot, but i didnt have a balancer at the time so put the dot on the valve, the front only needed 10g weight 5 on each side to get it 100% lol

with buying weights im tight i reused mine just added fresh double side trim tape i had in garage
