Hi All
I currently have a K6 2006 SV650 with a tail tidy and mini indicators. The mini indicators are rubbish and have now rusted up inside as they are pants! Due to the tail tidy, I wont be able to fit standard indicators back onto the bike, so does anyone have any recommendations? I want them to be seen and am not fussed about keeping them tiny! Thanks! |

Any other recommendations - I am happy for LED indicators but want something a bit bigger than the tiny ones? Also - are they easy to fit (I see some folk on here have probs with them flashing fast)?

When I bought my bike it had LED indicators. My mate rode it home for me and half the time I couldn't see them.
So, I bought a couple of 10W bulb indicators (similar to ebay item 190344798121) and tucked them under the seat. Strictly speaking they're a bit too close together for Construction and Use, but they are a huge improvement on the LED indicators and the MoT man had no problem with them. What I'd like now is a set of GSXR style mirrors with the built in indicators so I can replace the front LEDs with something a bit more visible too. Keith. |

They rust up inside because of all the carp that gets thrown into the indies via the access/drip hole thingami-jig. Just block these holes up with something. I used a bit of black electrical tape on mine, not to just stop the rusting, but to keep the inside of the lenses clear. My rear indies were always dirty on the inside of the lenses, the tape stopped this happening. HTH Chin |
