Default Dirty theaving scallys,

Just getting settled in bed, and heard a pounding outside and the dog started going nuts. Howling and barking she was really startled by what ever it was we'd both heard. Immediatly I bolt up right ran down stairs and saw the security light on at the back, grabbed my 4iron and headed to the door.
The dog had stopped barking, but then someone knocked on the front door but scarely they stood out of sight of the windows. (I puckered up a lil at this point if Im honest) but club in hand opened the font door to see a bloke with a pool que handle speaking too fast to clearly understand but I got the jist "feckers just robbed my shed and ran through your garden can I chase them?"

Hell yeah you can!

On with the trainers and pants and off we shot. Leaving the golf club behind and telling him to do the same with his pool que we set off chasing down these 2 hoodies he'd seen. Helped by security lights and barking dogs we ran for about 10mins down ginnels and local streets trying to find them armed with a rock and a floor board we'd grabbed from a skip (i know that the law doesnt allow you to go armed, but if its something you pick up for defence then they look more kindly on that, learnt from experiance).

We never did catch them but found his tool box in the cut through just behind my house. Amusingly the silly bollox, nicked an empty tool box and also hopped my back fence rather than using the open gate. His shed door is fooked which is a bit of bind, but he was very grateful for the help.

Miya (the dog) got loads of cuddles and teats when I got back in very proud of her, her barking was enough to make this bloke too scared to run through my garden without first asking rofl! Hopefully showed the theaving scallys not to come near mine again, oh an if you met Miya you'd know why thats so funny.

Nice bit of adventuring there! Funny images of Matt hurdling fences and scrambling over walls Seems to be a lot of tealeaving going on atm, probably no more than usual though.

Good on Miya, dogs are great

I've jus read Ralphs thread, his is more a heroic dog story, mine just a moan about the scum that are around.
Not the first thing to happen, only about 3 weeks ago I had some wheels and other bits of metal stollen from my garden by similar pikey scum.

Or scrap metal prices are higher so people are weighing in their own stuff rather than give it to the pikeys.

Good dog Miya
