Default How long is your comute?

I currently live in rochester and comute to Charlton, London everyday which works out at 60 miles a day. Everyone thinks im nuts but I will be moving again to Charing soon which is close to Ashford, this works out to 80 miles a day.
Does anyone make similar journeys or am I nuts?

1.8 miles according to the car, but that's a bit of a roundabout route...

Usually cycle it off road so less as the crow flies...

7 miles direct
20 miles if the suns shining

If it's a nice road and you've somewhere to get changed and hang up your kit in all weathers it could be fun. I guess you're stuck on the A2 tho

I travel mostly to client sites but my office is 23 miles away.

During normal rush hour it takes around 30 mins M-Way or 40 mins using back roads (dependant on getting stuck behind a tractor...)

Best record is 19 mins door to door on late sunday night, properly license losing speeds...

12.5 miles each way here, all rural roads. Thats a breeze, even in winter on the bike its not long enough to get properly cold.

As already mentioned, this goes up to 22 if the weather is nice and I have time.
