Right, last thursday morning the ignition fuse blew on my sv so when i came to start it in the morning not much happened. so after a flustered plan b to get to work was made, i got to work. I had a meeting that i HAD to get to at 8 am the next morning which was an hour away from where i work so needed to get the bike fixed
with my boss away for a week, i spoke to his boss and he said just take the afternoon and get it sorted Sooo, i go to get the bike fixed..saying to one of the ladies i work with that if its quick i will get back to here (work). but if it goes over what flexitime i have then i'd have to take it as a half days leave there for prob wont come back as id lose a half days leave and be sat at work So the dude finishes about 15:30, i text saying there isnt much point of coming back in as i'd have to get the bike home then pick up my gear then ride back into work for what would be less then an hour back at work My boss is back in work today and she is sat in blatent ear shot complaining to him about me being out of order grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what the feck has it got to do with her!!! *rant over* Last edited by Rai86; 10-05-10 at 11:17 AM. |

Maybe you need to explain to your boss what had been agreed on the day, and in ear shot of the mischief maker.
Sounds like you have somone in your office who isn't busy enough.

I couldnt not go to the meeting as i would have been in trouble at work if i didnt, so had to get the bike fixed to get there oh i dunno Meeting with my boss this afternoon so i will bring it up then i think, if he doesnt bring it up first! |

You had clearance from your boss's boss...nobody else's business. Hand a packet of choccy hobnobs around, they can achieve all sorts of things!

Two options as I see it.
My perennial favourite, post your boss a Tupperware lunch box full of turds. That always gets a reaction... Option two, have a quiet chat over a coffee and try to resolve the issue. It may be that she is not in full ownership of the facts. If things get nasty, then you need to have a meeting with her and her boss. Conflict resolution is never easy, which is why I prefer option one! ![]() |

Hmm i am liking option number 1 i have to say
![]() I have just stuck my head in my boss's boss's office (oo thats a mouthful & sounds kinda wrong - maybe thats just me tho!) and asked if he was ok with last thursday and checking that i hadnt got the wrong end of the stick. He said that that it was all fine and he will talk to my boss when he reapears Think the lady is just on a power kick. just wish someone would put her in her place sometimes |
