Went out to a meeting this morning on the curvy...first trip on the motorway on a bike for me!
![]() Much easier than expected, even though it was quite busy. How much wind buffeting is normal would you say? I'm 6ft 1in so no doubt that won't help, but just wondering whether today was particularly windy, or if I'm being soft? ![]() |

What bike? i.e have you got a fairing?
How low do you like to crouch over the tank? You'll soon get used to what you're happy with ![]() welcome ![]() |

Your quite upright when riding bobbert, noticed that instantly when you were following me.
Might be better if you lean forward a bit more. Im a short ass so it only really gets my in the head, but all I needed to do to let the wind flow straight over was tilt my head down slightly. If you were to lean forward then I'd imagine that it'd pass over you no worries. Preton rode a variety of curvys an you're defo shorter than he is so I wouldnt worry about "been too tall for the bike" |

He's got my old curvy Stu, the yellow fully faired one I took to AR last year.

Don't worry about the wind, you'll soon not even notice unless it is a horrendously windy day

Yeah I've tried leaning forward at higher speeds, does tend to help a bit, doing the same journey again tomorrow anyway, so I'll see if I can make things a bit more slippery
