Trumpet dealership, opening night next week

Triumph will open a brand new dealership in Leicester later this month. It will stock the full range of Triumph bikes, clothing and accessories.

Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham – Triumph’s chairman – will open Stratstone Triumph on Thursday 13th May, with proceedings kicking off at 6.00pm.

Music and refreshments will be available throughout the evening and prizes on offer include Triumph kit and VIP tickets to a round of the MCE British Superbike Championship.

Stratstone Leicester is the second Triumph dealership run by Pendragon – the largest independent car dealer in the UK. Stratstone is Pendragon’s luxury brand.

Guy Masters, General Manager of Triumph UK said: “We are delighted to be working again with Stratstone, to develop an outstanding store in a key location for us.

"This new store will give us the quality of premises and level of service demanded by our customers.”

Despite the recession Triumph delivered record UK sales in 2009. The iconic brand increased domestic sales by 26%, overtaking Kawasaki to be the fourth largest big bike brand in the UK.

Stratstone Triumph Leicester is at 45, Northgate Street, Leicester, LE3 5BZ and the Grand Opening takes place on the 13th May 2010, with doors open from 6.00pm.

I don't know much about, I copied the details from the MCN website, but looking at the stratstone website it looks like the Leicester branch also do Lotus cars

I might pop along to this and have a look.

Ha Ha. Just got back. Won two tickets for Lunch and seats in the Directors lounge for a Leicester Tigers game as guest of Sir Digby Jones. Chairman of Triumph motorcycles and Director of Leicester Tigers!
If he hadn't added that prize, I would've won the VIP BSB tickets
