Haynes states it to be a YT12A- BS
But a GT battery is GT12A- BS
Gel normally are the top code

Good morning all.

You can also fit a YTZ 12 or a YTZ 14 to a curvy SV. these have more capacity that the YT12 ABs, & can help start the beggar on a cold morning.

When it comes to batteries, stick to a good brand. Such as; Yuasa, or Varta, & avoid the cheapo makes.

Cheers.

Cheapo Chinese battery cost two of us three riding days in Morocco

It's a false economy
