Remote res or what? If so just bolt it in, cable clamp reservoir to somewhere convenient.

It's a fixed res. I've had a look round the rear shock threads and have a bit of experience from when I stuck an ohlins in my race bike when I could just relocate the battery box further into the subframe. It's a bit of a different matter with the road bike.
At first glance, I'll have to mod the battery box and check the bottom suspension bolt to see if I need a longer one or any spacers. I've never been a big fan of the whole underside of the SV - the battery box and toolkit box look pretty ugly IMO so I may try something a bit different and get rid of the whole lot while I'm at it. I've got a spare CBR tail unit and a mod'd rear subframe I'd like to try to get on there... I wondered if anyone had some stock settings for the shock though? Had a quick look round the WP site and it wasn't all that useful. May give them a bell though.

What is that shock intended for?
If it is GSXR or ZXR you will need bolt from either of those bikes (has nut), SV shock is threaded on one side.

It's for a ZXR I think so hopefullly it'll just be a case of locating the bolt and it'll drop straight in
