Get back on the sod and ride it!
![]() Like a complete pillock, I crashed (at a very low speed!) on the way to Squirrel_Hunter's (MY FIRST) rideout. After thinking "Damn, I wanted to go, and must go home" I realised if I can ride home I can ride to Chippenham. I am so glad I did. What a great bunch of people! Special thanks to Stretchie and GG, for opening their house to us all, Squirrel-hunter for organising the ride-out and all his help, Cuffy's wife for amazing cups of tea and Cuffy, for taking me to his, and his work, to fix my bike after I broke it! I don't owe him a pint at the AR, Iowe him a hangover! ![]() Guys, thank you for a great day! ![]() Now I'm off to: ![]() |

Yep good advice. I had an off 3/4 months ago due to some wet patch/ice (still not sure) at bout 30mph. Anyway, busted up my heel, my left wrist killed, and had quite bad road rash on my belly that was bleeding.
Well I asked for directions to the nearest hospital, got on the darned thing and rode. During my stay in hospital and I started questioning riding/etc but after discharge on the ride home, I was like, yeeep too much fun ![]() |

Glad you got home ok mate.
Nice to meet you, hero points to you for getting back on to meet us and then even thinking about doing the rideout without a left peg or complete gear switch but we couldn't have you riding like that. Glad Cuffy was around, did a much better job than we could have done

Glad you got back safe and sound, also that the peg and gear shift held out long enough for your journey back.
Hopefully those indicators will fit too. |

Yep, agree 100%, I rode this home after pulling the front fairing back far enough to turn the bars, and stopping half way at a wee garage to gaffer tape up my rad hose and add some more water.
