I've seen it at the nec show, my mate bought some for his blade, he didn't fit it for ages and got some stone chips. He's put it on now and you can't tell it's there unless you really look for it. I'd say get it, keep it looking new.

I too saw some at the motorbike show at the NEC, looks pretty good to be honest, if its applied properly, which it would be from a dealer, see if you can get it thrown in free, if so definately!

Depends how much it is, but not it's of much benefit to a naked bike.

There were a few stone chips at the front end of the tank on the old SV (R.I.P.) which was unfaired, so perhaps paint protection is not a bad idea. A bit of engine protection wouldn't be bad (considering the mess that grit and salt made of the SV one), but that's not so easy...
