no worries rob, is your wedding already! thats come around fast, saying that my gf told me our is in less than 90 days. doing a MBA - master of business adminstration by distance learning from durham uni. was a good idea at the time but requires more work than i a) have the time for and b) can be motivated to do, only done the first 4 modules so another year and a bit to go

Interesting, as I am thinking of doing some distance learning too, A masters in General Practice Surveying. Just weighing up whether its worth going for it at the mo with the jobs market in the air.

i applied for a quantity surverying masters at the same time i did the mba. Planned on doing the QS but applied for the MBA thinking they would say no but then they said yes. Then about 2 months later spoke to a lady at work that ran a QS company and they are desperate for them. So surveying could be a good route to go. Try and do a masters over a degree as the masters is much shorter and should put you in a better position at the end.

Will try and get out for a blast on Friday - just got to clear end of month figures before I can get away from my desk.

Day release? I don't get any time off work to do it, I do tend to use my lunch hour to get some done.
