Fuel light and Oil Light both came on at once.

...for no legitimate reason. My sv650 runs fine, and has plenty of gas and oil, but for some reason both the fuel light and the oil light came on at the same time this morning... Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas?

The oil pressure (not level) light is not a good sign, but if it came on at the exact same time as the fuel light then it may be a wiring issue.

Are they both still on, or have they gone off, or do they come on and off?

It's an 02 with 15k on it that's been well cared for. The two lights came on together and have stayed on. I've driven 20 cautious miles since this happened and the engine shows no signs of suffering.

look for corrosion in the connector blocks leading to the clocks
for a fully faired its down the left side fairing panel
for a nakid its in the back of the headlight
