I went to look at a bike to day Year 2000. The front forks were powder coated gray/black. All the other I have seen have been the normal gold/silver colour.
Any able to help, Is this common? could the bike have been in an accident? It looked really good with full service hitory ect. advice please Thanks David |

Its a fairly common mod as the lacquer is prone to flake and good crap as standard, powder coating/painting is an easy and cheap more aesthetically pleasing thing to do to make the bike look good.
Doubt it would be done as the result of an accident.
