Met up with mike and claire ,

showed them some non slab touristy type roads on there way oop norf to the GM3. very nice afternoon ride.

not really mate, a lot more scenic tour through some forests and fire tracks and a few lakes and resovoir's *sp but it did include some sections of our GM2 ride up.

anyway Claire seems chuffed with the comfort conversion and it does not look out of place on the bike neither.

Seriously, am making progress ( not the IAM type ) & lp's next rideout late September is my comeback target - looking forward to it. REALLY missing GMIII. Was tempted @ 5.30 this morning but being over-sensible as usual thought better of it!

i only showed Mike and Claire some nice roads up there and left them at abingdon to continue their journey, me no go to GM3.

me still got to do paybacks for the pyrenees trip LOL

note to self (pay son to cut the grass) pay daughter to grout some tiles.

I've introduced Pete to the roads over Skipton, Bardon, Appletreewick, Burnsall, Kettlewell etc he likey a lot, but I bet he couldn't find them without me at the moment! In fact hes finding Yorkshires roads rather super dooper.....must be something to do with it not being flat like down south eh!
