Pics from my weekend.

Went to my friends holiday bungalow in port eynon, south wales for a few days, just a few pics from there.

Some roaming horses and cattle pics, some new fowls were sticking close to their mothers.









An old smugglers cove, which is believed to have a tunnel that runs to the nearby church, the rope you can see is the only access at low tide, at seasonal high tides the water level is just below where the rope starts.

As the waves can be quite impressive at times it attracts its fair share of surfers...







The bungalow had its own resident robin which hung around most of the time, nicknamed Ramone.

Me and my mate also went quad biking on Monday at this place

Was £33 for an hour (or £45 for 90 mins) and the scenery was amazing, old reinstated open mines, loads of deep muddy ruts to mess about through.
There was only us two and the leader, the honda quads were very torquey, semi automatic gearbox's.
Tricky remembering not to pull left lever in on gear changes as that was rear brake






View from top of the one hill, we had to decend down a quite steep gravel track after this using the front brake and engine braking, my front brake was pants as they doctor them so newbies dont stand the bikes up or skid, i ended up panicking a bit and standing on the rear brake but slid so eased off that .
My mate filmed me coming down that on his iphone so will get the vid albeit you cant see that much.

Please tell me you tried climbing that rope. I could have resisted.

Nah, i would've normally but my shoulder is giving me grief and the area was swarming with annoying fliesso passed the opportunity.
From there we walked out to the sea across razor sharp jagged rocks, well dodgy.
Got so far out and wish i hadnt bothered, killed my feet and scuffed my trainers to bits
