getting all nostalgic(sp)-everyone who reminises about the original minis forgets how bad they were-i've had three, from standard right up to the 1380 block with full cage , deseamed etc, would love another one but so so impractical nowadays.

They're the only car I've owned. Last one was a beautiful 1380 Swiftune which was mental to drive.
Impractical but bloody lovely. |

my first car was a mini cooper. loved it!!! I completely agree that they were so impractical. but you just smiled everytime you were out driving in it.
goes off to look at autotrader and see if there's any for sale..... |

That looks like a giggle - I'm out of touch with such things now but 3½ large doesn't even seem too much for the work that's clearly gone into it. Wonder if it'll become 10 grand before it sells.

I think that might give young Barry a bit of a shock at the traffic light GP by our local McDonalds
 I wander what the BHP is cant see it anywhere on the ebay advert. Somebody my dad knows used to have an E.R.A Mini reckoned that was quite a giggle to drive.

Very nice find. Looks in good condition. Always wanted a real mini.
Parents have a 1967 mini cooper and that was one of the most fun cars i have ever driven. |
