Hello everyone.
I'm really getting annoyed with my bike now. The next problem: after removing the airbox the bike's tachometre is not working. I fired the bike up and the bike seemed quite rough. But that could be down to my exhaust which is busted at the moment and requires a new one. I removed the airbox (with quite a struggle) and I took a look at the idle adjustment screw. I did not move it much since it appeared to be siezed but in fact it was not. So, re-installed the airbox and started her up when I noticed the problem occur. The panel itself is working - the odometre is displaying along with the light panel. Just not this. I want to give my bike a complete overhaul but I do not think it is wise at the moment. I just want to get it working since I move soon and need to transport the bike (preferably by riding it). So p**sed off right now. |

You knocked the wire off of front coil?

Not too sure. Not as far as I am aware.
Where would I be looking if so? ![]() |

Left side of bike, bolted to frame rail near where crank breathers go onto airbox. Very likely culprit.

Thanks - I'll take a look. Hopefully it is that. I had some difficulty getting the airbox pipes on that side - one was a right bitch to get to!
Hoping I knocked it while trying to connect and it's just a simple reconnection. |

Hi Chris, I've just taken a look inside the bike and I guess I have found it; I have attached the image which I hope is it. Could you confirm?
