Right long story short, wife would like lower pegs for pillion use so i have 2 options as i can see it, apart from changing wife or bike
![]() Make a dogleg set of pegs that attach to existing mounting or attach an ally plate of about 5mm thick onto mounting bolts of heel plate above existing footpeg, polish it up and attach a footpeg to bottom of it, plate will need to be jigged slightly to clear 'arm' . There is already polished plates on the bike (see very bottom of pic) so it could be made to replicate this design. I want it to look ok as well as be functional. Here is a pic of a cardboard mock up i have done prior to drawing on cad14 in 2d. Obviously, design could be modded if not quite right or anybody has any other good ideas or suggestions. ![]() Thanks for any input. Phil |

cant remember how pillion pegs are mounted to rear subframe on sprint, but if theyre bolted why not add spacer (something like 5mm ally as you suggest) between subframe and peg mounts. start with a big plate, try different mounting holes and cut down to size when youre happy with the position.
