Default Newbie in Surrey

Hi all,
Based in Epsom, working in Woking, and riding a 2001 curvy SV650 (probably quite badly).
It (like me) is reaching an age where things are starting to wear out/drop off, so I'll probably be hanging around the technical threads looking for help!

Bonsoir!

Just ask away- loads on here who can help. There's also Spanner Man who's workshop is in Sunbury- very helpful and gives a discount to .orgers.

I'm Surbiton based and working in Weybridge- so we may well pass at some point (I either ride that way via Esher/Hersham or on the A3- depending on traffic, roadworks and whatnot).

The Curvies of that age (mine's 1999) do take a bit of looking after. Brakes in particular need stripping down and cleaning twice a year (before and after winter).

Merci!
To be fair, it's done 42K without making too many demands on me, and I have the advantage of having a tame enthusiast on-hand who's happy to do battle with the brakes on my behalf.

I've been lurking on here a bit lately and it's been a very useful souce of info, however sometimes there's no substitute for piling in with your own specific q's.

Give us a wave if you see me hacking down the A3!

Willdo. Chances are I'll be stopping by Boxhill on Sunday afternoon with a mate- will post here if that's confirmed.

Which colour Curvy you got? Naked or Faired?

Yellow naked. Grey Arai and (usually) a ridiculously hi-viz Richa jacket. Clashes horribly with the bike, don't you know.

No sh!t!

I'm in there most lunchtimes...!

I work in an office- Churchfield Rd.

Often got a black Hein Gericke jacket on cold/wet days and looking not best pleased (a day at work...!).
