Default Car insurance

Car insurance seems to have rocketed recently!

Has anyone else noticed?

Oh yes. I did some quotes about 4 months a go so I could budget accordingly. Fast forward to now and they've increased by 50%. Bloody scheisters I tell thee.

Yeah I noticed. When I rang up to rant about my renewl being more this year despite having another years no claims they tried to feed me some bull****, saying everyones has gone up because of the ice/snow we had during winter 09/10 creating an unusually high increase in accidents/claims.

Mine has gone up £80 this year, for exactly the same policy and 10 years plus no claims

I was thinking this, I just bought my first car, and although I have had a car licence for 9 years, I have no years NCB of my own so I am paying £660 a year for an old golf. Thought that was very steep compared to £130 for my much much faster and more dangerous motorbike!

Started last year with the Credit Crunch. Carol Nash said that about the bike insurance, year before last.

So no change there then! Fact of life, everything is going up. Robbin barstools.
