Default Peak District Passes

Took a short ride into the Peaks today (80 miles in total) and took in a couple of passes . Few pics below:

Cat 'N' Fiddle

Winnats Pass

Derwent Water

Snake Pass

Buxton to Whaley Bridge Road

Not far from home, came around the corner and found these guys getting dirty

Man your pictures do make the Peak district look like an awesome place to go ride your bike but whenever I go there I have a torrid time due to the ridiculous speed limits and the lack of national speed limits.

To be fair I have totally the wrong bike for the peaks, a nice upright easy going naked would be ideal I think.

50's are NSL in my eyes and therefore fair game but its the endless 30 in a village then 40 cos the next village isn't that fair away then down to 30 then repeat the process 20 times until you finally get to a nice bit of road which is full of cars with limited opportunities to pass due the white lines.

you need to move away from the main areas and try some of the roads off the beaten track, there is some brilliant roads with very little traffic on and all NSL ones, you just need to know where they are thats all.

Spiers is just being a little bitch and trying to find excuses for his fiery accident.
