Anybody know what this is likely to cost at a Suz Auth dealer?

Mines cost in the region of £250 in April, but I had to have a rear caliper changed.

Good morning all.

At 7.5k we like to get stuck in, & do a fair bit of preventative maintenance. This would include throttle body synchronisation, caliper clean, brake fluid change, linkage grease & so on. Aside from the normal oil & filter etc.
We usually charge 4 hours for this. Which to forum members is; £169.20 inc VAT.
I doubt that the spark plugs will need changing, but your airfilter might, due to riding in town a fair bit. You will also need rear pads, as they looked a little thin when you came in for your springs & tyres.

Give me a yell if you would like more info.

Cheers.

Have to say, this will save you in the long run and I doubt you'll get it done in a dealer service at twice the price.

Usually we charge between 3-3.5 hours. Dependant on bikes age and use its a possibility that the air filter may require changing. The same with the coolant and brake fluid. We moisture test the fluid and test the efficiency of the coolant.

Its hard to put an exact flat rate price or time as each bike is different and whats required can vary dependant on what the bikes been used for and whether its in good clean condition and whether the owner does any preventative maintenance themselves.

7.5k also includes throttle body balance and TPS check.

If the bike is a late model injected then they get an SDS check also and any stored faults cleared down which makes future fault diagnostics alot easier.

Bike servicing costs are obsence. It is cheaper to get my Audi A6 serviced at a York Audi than it is to get this bike serviced. I wouldn't mind if it was BMW.

As soon as my warrenty is up sod going to the local dealer. YC is the man.
