On the way home from the hospital, I'm ok My knee is a little sore but all seems ok after X-ray as it's the same knee iv had wires put into,
Some dozey cow in an uninsured banger of a BMW decide it would be a good idea to do a u turn right after a corner!! Bikes messed up again and i just generally feel down in the dumps it was a year two days ago since my last off and have only just finished geting bike back on the road and paying the credit card off for the parts I purchased. Maybe it's a sign as my partner really wants me to give it up 2.

Sorry to hear that mate glad you're o.k. I'm sure you will feel differently about giving up riding after a day or two.
Did you get all the other drivers details still? |

yep the insurance companies pay into a pot for victims of uninsured people, when your up to it see what the police are charging her with , dangerous driving ,no insurance etc ,give then everything you have and they should in turn give you info on what you should do next,
pm me your address again ant and i'll bob over to see ya next weekend |

You could also try a private claim (small claims court?) and a personal injury claim, although as she's not insured I'm sure the court would limit it to what she could afford paid in weekly 50p installments.

That's horrendous!
Really does make you wonder what is wrong with some people, for her to 1) go out and drive a car uninsured and 2) to think it's a good idea to do a u-turn just around a corner... Gawdamn idiots!! Glad to read you're okay, and i hope you reconsider the giving it up, and also get some if not all of your money back, as thats the least you deserve |
