Default CBR600RR - Won't start

Bike won't start, was fine one day and not firing up the next. Breakdown guy said the plugs aren't firing and I can hear the fuel pump so that seems fine. He said compression 'sounds' fine (not sure how you hear it) and he's pretty sure the coils may have blown but I think otherwise since there are 4 rather than a 'pack'. Battery fully charged, immobiliser disarms and the starter is turning but no firing.

I have a suspicion the plugs are wet / fouled, I've tried starting with the throttle wide open and also turned it over with the cut off switch off to try and clear the cylinders. No joy. When I try there is a smell of fuel from the exhaust?

I don't want to pull the plugs out really as it's pretty tight in there, the bike is still in warranty so I've booked it in for Thurs but is there anything I can try before hand?

The bank angle sensors seem to cause a few problems, it's in the front fairing between the headlamps. Might be worth making sure it's secure and the connector is ok.

If it's in warranty it's their problem not your.

I'd bet on immobiliser related issues, tip sensor would cut fuel too as would safety cutouts I reckon.

I thought warranty wouldn't cover fouled plugs since they're a consumable item? I thought that if they found out that it was the plugs then I'd have to pay for the labour + plugs?

Modern bikes don't really foul plugs like old ones did, definitely not all 4 at once. Is it firing and trying to catch?

Place I got it from is too far away, breakdown cover won't take it 50 miles. It's booked in to a Honda dealer so I can hopefully just push them on the warranty. Is there anywhere that has the terms of the warranty written down. The guy said itd be £40 plus parts to swap plugs if it was them but I'm not paying that if it should be a warranty job.

I agree it would be odd for all plugs to foul at once but thought the cylinders could flood so they would be too wet to fire?

Modern bikes really shouldn't do that. If it was flooded it would probably just clear itself.

Don't want to teach grandma to suck eggs but try charge the battery up.

That was helpful, recovered it to the garage and they called me 2 hours later and said after trying for a bit it started! They're keeping it until tomorrow to make sure it starts ok tomorrow morning and then I'll just go and get it.
