metalangel down but NOT out!
Riding home from work today, came up the Eastern Ave sliproad to the Gabalfa interchange, stopped at the give way line for the (very busy) roundabout and looked to my right waiting for a gap.
BANG punted hard from behind, flying into the roundabout and bike and I fall over onto my right. Pull myself out to see woman in VW, her male companion comes over and we haul it upright and get it onto the verge. She'd obviously been looking right for a gap in the traffic and assumed I'd gone. Bike: -licence plate came off -scuffed RH mirror -scuffed RH bar end -rear brake lever bent in -engine casing badly scraped and dented -handlebars pushed out of alignment by impact Me: -VERY sore right foot as that's what it all landed on! (sorry no Cymraeg_Atodeg style bum pics) Fortunately Heath Hospital is right there so went straight over to the Emergency dept and got x-rayed... nothing broken, just very swollen and starting to hurt. Cheers to the guy on the red Honda who came past and while stopped gave me a hopeful thumbs up and then a head wiggle of sympathy. P***ed off more than anything, at least it was ridable (though rear brake very tricky to use) and so rode home and phoned insurance.  look where you're flipping going.Ride safe this weekend you guys. Its the Banki Holiday getaway nightmare time, everyone's in a rush to get home and getaway.

No I suppose I don't... I'm fine, I have plenty of beer, my laptop and my 360. And an indentured servant/nurse
