OK, before I start I will let you all know that I have the levers set at an angle that is ok for me.
Lately I have noticed that my right hand, and only my right hand, gets numb with a pins and needles type of sensation after riding for a short while. A handy thing some might think, but that's for another situation... ![]() I am not too sure what could be causing this but thought I would ask if it could possibly be a bar end. I have R&G's and they appear to be done up nice and tight. Would it be worth taking the bar ends off completely and seeing if that makes a difference. I have a K8 naked with pretty much flat Renthal bars with a bit of sweep. |

Is it all of your right hand or only part of it? If you have issues with the nerve that runs through the back of your elbow joint, you'll have issues with pins and needles in your litle and ring fingers.
If it's the whole hand, see if you can relax a bit with your grip. You only need to grip enough between thumb and forefinger to hold against the throttle springs. Steering is mostly push (you can pull too). But Push doesn't need grip. |

I have posted this many times, check your cuffs and gloves arent done up too tight, i found this out the hard way.
You want them just nice and free, not tight at all because when your wrists are angles the cuffs etc get tighter. I dont get this at all, but if rode tomorrow with the cuffs and gloves tight i would get pins and needles within 30 mins. HTH |

Also check your not gripping the throttle to hard. use more of your fingers rather than thumb and 1st finger by spreading your hand out across the entire grip, made a world of difference to me but keep having to remind myself to do it.
