Default Fluffy pancakes!

Ok, so some of you will know, especially if you've ever stayed over at mine and Stretchies, that I regularly do fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, bacon and scrambled eggs.

I've use a recipe I got in America years ago, always with good results and lovely pancakes. This morning though, I decided I wanted to try and make the pancakes so that they would be even fluffier and more able to absorb the syrup on the plate.

Here's the result, these are going to my mum and dads on Sunday and I'll be taking a massive batch to the AR too for those that are kipping in our tent.

If anyone wants the recipe....post up and I'll pass it on. They're the best I've ever made.

Hmmmmmmmm yes please. One of my mates is (half) American and is still confused by English pancakes, so I'd like to do these for her when she comes to stay next

You would enjoy it here at the moment as the Stampede started today. Free pancake breakfasts all over the city. They reckon 200,000 are served up during the 10 days

Pretty much the same. I now just call them fluffy pancakes, but grew up knowing them as American pancakes as I lived there as a child and so that's how I got to love them!

The funny thing is, you can go into Denny's in the states at 8am and order pancakes with a 10oz steak!!!

I'll just stick the recipe on here a bit later and you can all copy and paste it onto word!
