Default Battery Sizes for minitwin

I have just relocated my battery and trying to keep it around a size of 150x87x93. I have a Exide ETZ10S that is that size (that I am using to gauge with) it has a rating of 12V 8.6Ah but will not start the bike. It had a YTX12BS on it but its just too tall. So my dilemma is... What battery do I go for?!
I have been looking at the YTX9BS as it looks about right, can I go lower on the Ah? I thought that the ETZ I had would do the job, just goes to show how wrong I was.

Any ideas?

Those things look amazing! I wish I could warrant spending that much so early on though. I thank you very much for it, will be an investment for next year!

I run a 9 cell on my SV Trackbike and its more than enough, in fact I can leave the bike in the garage for a couple of months not plugged into the charger and it starts fine doesnt even have a hint of having a low charge and not much choke either.

I just still can't get my head around why my 12V 8.6Ah(10HR) Battery doesn't have enough power to crank it over.

What bike is the battery intended for?

a stock battery for a sv has the following

Quote:
YTX12BS
Voltage [V] 12
Battery Capacity [Ah] 11
Cold-test Current, EN [A] 140
and a sv takes a big crank charge hence such a large cold current charge

I've looking for the spec on that exide and can't find anything, you got any info on it
