Default Do Not Use This Online Shop (www.moto-racing.co.uk)

I have recently ordered a chain and sprocket kit for my zx6r from the above website.

The website looks great and advertised good prices.

It has been 3 weeks since i made the order and my order status is "pending shipment". It has been at this state since a few hours after i made the orders.

I have phoned with no answer, sent over 5 emails with no responce. I have since informed my bank who i am hoping will chase this clown up and get my money back.

I HAVE READ PLENTY OF OTHER REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET SAYING THE SAME THING SO JUST FOR EVERYONE ON HERE TO KNOW

AVOID THIS WEBSITE NO MATTER HOW GOOD A DEAL YOU ARE GETTING.

That's a pity, cos it's a great looking site, with lots of shiny goodies! Best of luck getting your funds back

The small print on most mail order deals usually says allow 28 days for delivery, check their T's & C's.

From their T&C. 5.2 If we are not able to deliver your goods within 30 days of the date of your order, we shall notify you by e-mail to arrange another date for delivery.

As long as you take a month off work, you should be good.

They have two addresses in Matlock and are notorious... I've heard people do receive the stuff eventually.

Even so, you would still expect them to answer the phone, even if they feel like avoiding the emails.

Id expect a reply to an email regardless of how long they keep your order pending, good customer service.

As an aside to this, I ordered some bits for my bike from M+P a while ago and it took two months to arrive and one part was finally cancelled. When we complained to M+P they told us that it is often worth confirming an order by phone rather than via the web because if out of stock it just gets left until the part comes in. Not great when they have taken your money. The bits we ordered were clutch plate and it turned out that the brand we ordered were out of stock, but sat on the shelf for the same money were some EBC ones. Computers don't spot that kind of thing.

I am not saying that these people are like that, but it is always worth a phone call if you are spending big sums.

For this reason I like to support my small independent shop when ever possible.

I had some trouble with M&P years back with the same thing, I complained loudly and got £30 of vouchers for my troubles.
